Bombing bastards

John Carpenter music / Tricky lyrics

I’ve recorded this song with an ambient microphone then added a couple vocal tracks in the mix.
The music idea was to perform an acoustic song with a trip-hop beat from my drum machine: a folktronica concept.
The music is from John Carpenter Assault on Precint 13, while the lyrics are Bobing bastards by Triky, already a Carpenter cover.
For the video I drafted some illustrations to go with the lyrics: pencils and watercolors for the most. Then I used some 3d model to create abstract animations to go with the instrumental parts of the song.
